According to a report from this past Saturday, Lucha libre legend Konnan has been hospitalized in San Diego, California. The Mexican sports outlet RECORD noted that Konnan underwent a leg amputation and is currently in "delicate health." However, it is important to mention that these reports have not yet been officially confirmed, and no announcements regarding his status have been made.
Dave Meltzer shared on the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio that he does not have all the information at this time but expects Konnan will address the situation soon. Meltzer also indicated that Konnan has been in "rough shape" for approximately the last six weeks, which coincides with the last time he appeared on AAA television.
Additionally, it was mentioned that Konnan has been "in and out" of the hospital, with the majority of his time spent admitted. Over the years, Konnan has faced various health issues, including kidney problems reported in 2022. As of now, there is no confirmation regarding the specifics of his current health issues, but more details will be provided as they become available.
