-- Thomas Wansaw, better known as Bear Boulder of the Iron Savages tag team in AEW, has been fired from the company after news came out that he was arrested for battery by strangulation in January.
-- Wansaw was arrested on January 13 when deputies arrived at his place of residence, having been called by the alleged victim, identified as Wansaw’s fiance who claimed that she was physically battered by him. Wansaw was issued a no-contact order for the victim but after a subsequent hearing towards the end of January, the order was updated at the victim's request to him having "no hostile or violent contact with the victim."
-- Originally as per the no-contact order, Wansaw was ordered to maintain a separate residence from the victim but with the change, that requirement was lifted. He has though been ordered not to own or possess any firearms, weapons or ammunition. It is unclear if the prosecution will move forward with any charges but the case remains open with no new court dates scheduled for the time being.
