After previously facing some criticism online at the lack of structure during matches and segments due to a lack of production meetings, AEW President Tony Khan now regularly holds them.
Bryan Alvarez of f4wonline.com reports that Khan has been doing "actual production meetings" for a while where he will get the top agents, announcers and other key personnel in a room together to review items before the shows.
Alvarez clarified that in response to criticism, Khan began holding what he termed as production meetings but they actually were a series of small sessions without getting everyone together in one place. Alvarez described it saying "Tony's production meeting was, well, I go and I meet with these guys and then I go meet with these guys and then I go meet with these guys, and then I talk to this agent. He just did these meetings throughout the day and that was what he considered production meetings."
Khan will now get announcers, agents and some executives in the same room and together they will go over the show. However, it was clarified that while he has been doing this for a few months, Khan still meets regularly with certain people individually, it's just that he has added the small key core group meeting as well.
