On his official Twitter (X) account, AEW star Anthony Bowens shared his thoughts on why he feels overlooked within the company. His comments were in response to a fan who praised him after his segments on this past Saturday’s Collision.
The fan mentioned that AEW needs to give Bowens a chance to shine. In response, Bowens wrote, “I get overlooked bc I’ve never had an opportunity to go 20-30 minutes or more with someone in AEW. That is really when you start to earn your stripes. You can’t make a determination without giving people the chance to prove you wrong.

Last Saturday night's Collision featured a brief reunion between Bowens and his former Acclaimed partner, Max Caster. However, Jerry Lynn intervened in an attempt to get them to reconcile. Their efforts were unsuccessful until Swirl came out and attacked Lynn, which sparked a brawl involving Lynn and Caster. Bowens returned to assist them in the fight, but when Lynn tried to raise both of their hands in celebration, Bowens and Caster ended up splitting apart from each other again.
