After the main event of last night's WWE SummerSlam Sunday, where Cody Rhodes defeated John Cena to reclaim the Undisputed WWE Title, "The Beast" Brock Lesnar made a shocking return to the company by delivering an F5 to Cena.
According to PWInsider.com, WWE flew Lesnar into New Jersey on Saturday night and took measures to keep his presence hidden throughout the day. The report also mentioned that even some WWE writers were unaware of Lesnar’s return.
Lesnar's last appearance for WWE was at SummerSlam 2023, where he lost to Cody Rhodes. He has been embroiled in controversy since the Janel Grant lawsuit in 2024, which included an “unnamed talent” that the Wall Street Journal later identified as Lesnar. He was named in the amended Janel Grant lawsuit, which ultimately led to Vince McMahon's exit from WWE and derailed plans for Lesnar to return to the promotion in 2024.
