Backstage News On Elio LeFleur’s Injury Status After Last Weekend’s NXT Live Event

As previously reported, WWE NXT star Lexis King experienced an injury scare after taking a knee to the head during an 8-Man Tag Team Match. In this match, he teamed up with Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo, Charlie Dempsey, and Uriah Connors to face the team of WWE Men's Speed Champion Elio LeFleur, Eli Knight, Kale Dixon, and Tavion Heights at the NXT live event in Lakeland, Florida, this past weekend. Fortunately, it was reported that King was feeling okay after the match.

According to Fightful Select, LeFleur also went down during the bout and sustained an arm injury. The report noted that he was seen with his arm in a sling. There is currently no information regarding the severity of the injury or whether he will need to take time off. As a result, he and his tag team partner, Eli Knight, were pulled from their scheduled WWE NXT Tag Team Championship #1 Contender's Tournament Match against The Culling on last night's NXT.

Originally, Knight was set to team with Sean Legacy, but Legacy revealed last week that he was injured. LeFleur stepped in to replace him, only to face his own injury shortly thereafter.
