Backstage News On An Injury That Has Led To Plans Being Changed For A Big Match At AEW All In: Texas

It was reported last month that former AEW Women's World Champion Jamie Hayter is not medically cleared to compete following an injury sustained during her match with Mercedes Moné at Double or Nothing.

According to Fightful Select, Hayter was originally scheduled to be part of the storyline leading up to this weekend's All In: Texas; however, her injury forced AEW to make changes to their plans. The report also mentioned that when Hayter was deemed unfit to compete, AEW decided to structure Thekla’s AEW debut in a way that would allow Hayter to be involved. The hope was that they could resume the storyline when Hayter returns, but unfortunately, she has missed more time than AEW anticipated.

The report concludes by stating that AEW is optimistic about picking up the storyline once Hayter is back, but there is currently no indication of when that might occur.
