Backstage News On JC Mateo’s Contract Status With WWE

WWE star JC Mateo, also known as Jeff Cobb, joined the company in May after his debut at Backlash. According to Fightful Select, Mateo signed a three-year deal with WWE, meaning he will remain with the company until May 2028.

Mateo made his debut by assisting Jacob Fatu in retaining the United States Championship during a match against LA Knight, Drew McIntyre, and Damian Priest. While Fatu has separated from the MFT faction, Mateo continues to be allied with the group led by Solo Sikoa.

Most recently, Mateo competed in a Survivor Series-style 5-on-5 Elimination Match, alongside his fellow MTF members, on the November 28 episode of SmackDown.
