An update on Michael Hayes and Brock Lesnar.
According to Fightful Select, Hayes is backstage at today's Royal Rumble event overseeing production duties as usual. The longtime WWE producer was named in an amended complaint filed by Janel Grant, whose lawsuit against former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon, continues to rage on.
Meanwhile, Lesnar continues to remain absent from WWE, as has been the case for over a year now. The Beast is once again not in attendance at the Royal Rumble, and there has been little to no discussion of his potential return to the company. Fans have been speculating about his status for months, but WWE has kept silent on the matter.
While Hayes continues to work behind the scenes, his involvement in the legal issues surrounding Grant’s complaint has raised questions about his future in the company. Similarly, Lesnar’s unexplained hiatus leaves fans wondering when, or if, the former champion will ever return.
