Backstage News On Potential Plans For Seth Rollins At WWE WrestleMania 42

During a recent interview on Mohr Stories, top WWE star Seth Rollins, who is currently sidelined, revealed that he has “another three or four months” left for his shoulder to heal before he can potentially return to the ring. This time frame could impact his participation in next year’s WWE WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas.

According to Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE sources have indicated that Rollins’ involvement in WrestleMania 42 remains a possibility but is not guaranteed. Meltzer also noted that the initial plan was to have Rollins face Roman Reigns as the main event for one of the WrestleMania nights. While that match could still occur, it will no longer be for the title. Additionally, WWE seems to be shifting their focus toward a match between Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns for the premium live event.

This update follows Rollins’ previous comments to Bert Kreischer on Something’s Burning last November, where he stated that his status for WrestleMania 42 was “TBD.” WrestleMania 42 is scheduled for Saturday, April 18, 2026, and Sunday, April 19, 2026, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.
