Backstage News On Potential WrestleMania 42 Plans For Top WWE Stars Including Brock Lesnar

Dave Meltzer recently discussed potential matches for WrestleMania 42 in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, focusing on Brock Lesnar, Seth Rollins, The Vision, The Judgment Day, and The Kabuki Warriors.

Lesnar issued an Open Challenge on last week’s episode of Monday Night RAW, but no one from the roster has responded yet. However, fans believe that Oba Femi may step up to face Lesnar. The two had a face-off during the Men’s Royal Rumble Match in January, which generated significant excitement among fans. Meltzer mentioned that with the WWE Universe supporting the idea of a Lesnar vs. Femi match at WrestleMania 42, this is likely the direction the creative team will pursue.

Regarding Seth Rollins' plans for WrestleMania 42, Meltzer noted that The Visionary is expected to either face Bron Breakker or Logan Paul in Las Vegas. Breakker would be the preferred opponent, assuming he can return in time for the event. If not, Logan Paul would be the backup choice, especially since Rollins cost Paul a potential victory in the Elimination Chamber match last weekend.

Meltzer also mentioned discussions about the possibility of The Vision winning the World Tag Team Titles. If Breakker is available to face Rollins at WrestleMania 42, then Paul and Austin Theory may pursue the tag team gold currently held by The Usos. Additionally, Meltzer confirmed plans for Finn Bálor to face Dominik Mysterio and Asuka to compete against Kairi Sane at WrestleMania 42 this April.
