According to Fightful Select, reigning AEW Women's World Champion Thekla, who leads the Triangle of Madness, has re-signed a multi-year deal with the company. While specific details of the new agreement have not been disclosed, AEW has expressed great satisfaction with Thekla's performance, prompting them to extend her contract before the completion of her first year. It has been reported that Thekla used representation to negotiate this deal.
Initially, Thekla signed a two-year contract with AEW in July of last year. Since her arrival in AEW, she has quickly risen through the ranks of the women's division. Thekla teamed up with Julia Hart and Skye Blue to form the Triangle of Madness and captured the AEW Women’s World Championship during the February 11th episode of Dynamite. She successfully defended her title against Kris Statlander at AEW Revolution.
