According to the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE is no longer taping new episodes of "Speed," and the championship titles related to the show seem to have been forgotten. The report also mentioned that the contract with Twitter (X) has likely expired, and it remains unclear whether it will be renewed.
When WWE sources were asked about the status of "Speed," they stated they were uncertain. It appears that WWE is giving the impression that "Speed" is so insignificant that no one is even discussing it. As of now, WWE has not made an official statement regarding the future of "Speed" or whether new episodes will be produced.
The last episode of "WWE Speed" aired on X on July 9, but no new episodes have been released since then. Sol Ruca currently holds the WWE Speed Women’s Championship, while El Grande Americano is the WWE Speed Champion for the men's. Additionally, Mattel unveiled a new WWE Elite Andrade action figure at San Diego Comic-Con last week, which included a WWE Speed Title belt accessory. If the WWE Speed Titles are phased out, WWE will have a total of 21 active championships, including the WWE ID Championships.
