WWE EVOLVE Women's Champion Kendal Grey successfully defended her championship against PJ Vasa at last night’s EVOLVE: Succession II special. This match was made official during a contract signing on the February 18th episode of the show.
According to BodySlam+, Grey's time with the brand is expected to come to an end soon, though no further details have been provided on this matter. There is also no information yet regarding the future of the EVOLVE Women’s Championship. Following her victory over Vasa, Grey engaged in a back-and-forth exchange with Tyra Mae Steele, who hinted at pursuing the title.
Grey has held the EVOLVE Women’s Championship since she defeated inaugural champion Kali Armstrong on October 15th of last year, during the first EVOLVE: Succession special. Her win over Vasa marked her eighth successful title defense. Notably, three of these defenses occurred on WWE NXT, and she has been actively involved in the NXT Women’s Championship scene.
Grey challenged for the NXT Women’s Championship at a live event on February 7th and teamed with Wren Sinclair in a #1 contenders tag team match for the Women's Championship on the February 10th episode of NXT. Additionally, she competed for the NXT Women’s Championship at NXT New Year’s Evil after winning the 2025 Women’s Iron Survivor match.
