As previously reported, indie wrestling star Zayda Steel chose not to renew her WWE ID contract this past October. She had been appearing on WWE EVOLVE for several months, having originally signed her ID deal in November 2024. Following her exit from the WWE ID program, Steel has caught the attention of AEW, who reached out to her.
According to Fightful Select, Steel has not yet signed with AEW. However, many within the company believe that she will. The report also mentioned that Steel has been present at several recent AEW TV episodes, but she has not wrestled for the company yet. There is currently no information on when her debut match might take place, but updates will be provided as it becomes available.
