As previously reported, AEW has concluded the AEW Unrestricted podcast, which was co-hosted by referee Aubrey Edwards and Will Washington. According to a report from Friday, Edwards remains “firmly” under contract with the company.
Fightful Select has revealed that a source within AEW confirmed the company had intentions of signing Edwards to a new deal some time ago. It was also noted that she is still working under her old contract, and AEW wants to retain her on a long-term basis. There is currently no information regarding the expiration date of Edwards’ contract, but updates will be provided as they become available.
Edwards has been with AEW since September 2019. In addition to her roles as a referee and podcast host, she has also worked behind the scenes in AEW’s video game department, drawing from her previous experience as a producer in the video game industry.
