Sean Ross Sapp addressed a fan's question in the latest edition of Fightful Select Answers regarding potential call-ups from WWE NXT to the main roster. According to Sapp, NXT star Jordynne Grace is a likely candidate for a call-up, as she is reportedly already earning "main roster money." He also mentioned that former WWE NXT Women's Champion Jacy Jayne is among the top candidates for a call-up, citing her title reign as a strong reason for her promotion to the main roster.
Additionally, Sapp sees Wendy Choo as a possible candidate for a "sink or swim" run on the main roster. Notably, after the WWE Draft took place in 2023 and 2024, no draft was held this year. Instead, WWE implemented a "transfer window" system to move Superstars between rosters. It remains uncertain if WWE plans to use a similar transfer window for future NXT call-ups.
Grace signed a multi-year contract with WWE earlier this year and made her debut during the Royal Rumble, competing in the Women’s Rumble match. She subsequently joined the NXT roster at NXT Vengeance Day. Jayne recently had a significant title reign as the NXT Women’s Champion, holding the belt for 150 days before losing it last month to Tatum Paxley at NXT Halloween Havoc. During her reign, Jayne was also the TNA Knockouts World Champion, making her a double champion. She signed with WWE in early 2021 and later joined the NXT roster that same year.
