Undisputed WWE Champion "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes is currently taking a short hiatus from WWE programming as he films his role as Guile in the upcoming Street Fighter movie. At one point, it was reported that his participation in WrestlePalooza on Saturday, September 20th, was uncertain.
However, Dave Meltzer recently revealed on Wrestling Observer Radio that Rhodes will return in time to compete in the event and defend his championship against Drew McIntyre.
WWE WrestlePalooza will take place on Saturday, September 20th, at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana. This event will mark the debut of WWE's premium live events (PLEs) on ESPN’s new app. Notably, WrestlePalooza is scheduled for the same day as AEW All Out, but AEW has changed the start time of All Out to 3 PM ET to avoid direct competition with WrestlePalooza.
