Backstage WWE News On Jordynne Grace's New Multi-Year Contract; Current Plans For Her

Jordynne Grace

-- Former TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace officially joined WWE last month and made her official "debut" with the company during the women's Royal Rumble match. As many expected, Grace signed a new WWE contract almost immediately after her TNA deal ended and now we have more details on it.

-- Fightfulselect.com reports that Grace has inked a five-year contract with WWE that will take her through 2029. While she did not appear on this week's NXT, the plan is for her to start with that brand for the time being but by all indications, she has signed a "main roster level deal" so it would be a strong assumption to expect her with either Raw or Smackdown sooner rather than later.

-- TNA sources noted that they had strong interest in retaining her but understood that the chances of that happening were low. For the moment, Grace will be working out at WWE's Performance Center ahead of her NXT appearances. Interestingly, Grace will retain right to her name and her theme song as she owns both of those items.
