After the live episode of AEW Collision this past Saturday night, AEW President and CEO Tony Khan announced on his official Twitter (X) account that Blake Christian has signed with the company.
This is what Tony Khan wrote, “The Swirl, Vanilla Baby Blake Christian + @BigShottyLee, had another excellent showing on Saturday #AEWCollision tonight, and now it’s official: @_BlakeChristian is All Elite!”
Christian is a member of The Swirl, alongside "Big Shotty" Lee Johnson. They recently competed in a 4-Way Tag Team Match on Saturday's Collision, which ended with Private Party defeating LFI, The Swirl, and The Outrunners.
Christian and Johnson have been teaming together since March 2025 and officially adopted the name The Swirl in July of the same year. Christian has been wrestling for AEW since 2022, making his debut on Dark, and has also competed in both AEW and ROH. His first match under the Tony Khan-owned version of ROH took place at Death Before Dishonor 2022 during the Zero Hour pre-show.
