Details On TNA's Leadership Team & Roles Of Various Individuals

-- TNA Wrestling has undergone some huge changes over the last six months, first changing their from IMPACT back to TNA before overhauling their entire management structure with long-time team members Scott D'Amore and RD Evans exiting the company. In an article posted today, pwinsider.com has more insight into how TNA is currently structured when it comes to their leadership:

  • Ariel Shnerer is the Executive Producer for TNA and he is said to be the one leading the "day-to-day" operations as well as creative. He is constantly in touch with talent and has received praise from the wrestlers on his communication skills. An example is that leading into tomorrow's TNA Against All Odds PPV, talent has already been brought up to speed on what they are likely doing on the show as well as the direction of their characters and stories, something which was not common prior to Shnerer taking the lead.
  • Anthony Cicione is the TNA President and is not as involved from a day-to-day creative perspective but is overseeing the business side of the company. He is the person responsible for continuing to build and evolve the TNA-NXT relationship and would be the person who is ultimately in charge.
  • Veteran wrestling personality Gail Kim is considered the head of Talent Relations for TNA and she is said to be the most respected person in the company's locker room.
  • Tommy Dreamer, Jorge Barbosa and Delirious assist Shnerer with the creative aspect of TNA and Kim is also said to have some input into that area. The process is believed to be much the same even after Evans' exit as there is no real "head" of creative but all the aforementioned individuals work together to deliver storylines rather than rely on one person's vision.
