Dixie Carter Set To Return At IMPACT's Slammiversary PPV Event

Marc Raimondi of ESPN recently took to his Twitter and mentioned that former TNA/IMPACT Wrestling top executive and President Dixie Carter is set to return at the company's Slammiversary Event, but there is no word yet on what she will be doing in the show beside maybe celebrating the 20 year anniversary of IMPACT.

As of this writing, neither has IMPACT Wrestling nor Dixie Carter commented on Marc Raimondi's report of Dixie's return, but she did respond to a Slammiversary video package that was tweeted by IMPACT in late May. Dixie also commented on the 20 year anniversary of the promotion and thanked each and every fan who made it possible.

Dixie Carter last appeared for IMPACT Wrestling in January 2016 for the live Pop TV debut. She opened the show by continuing the feud with her storyline nephew, Ethan Carter III (EC3) and quickly left as a brawl broke out between Eric Young and Matt Hardy. Since then, Dixie Carter has made appearances in a number of video packages for IMPACT Wrestling and ROH. Carter also made a special appearance for an interview in the WWE's "WWE 24: Homecoming” docuseries on WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle back in 2017.

Carter was the TNA President from 2003-2016, alongside IMPACT Wrestling founder and WWE Hall of Famer Jeff Jarrett. She would then resign as Chairwoman in early 2017 after being in the company for around 14 years and would remain a minority shareholder until leaving the company that same year.

IMPACT will be celebrating their 20th anniversary with their Slammiversary Event this Sunday, June 19 from the Nashville Fairgrounds in Nashville, Tennessee.
