Elio LeFleur Confirmed To Be Injured On WWE NXT, Set To Vacate Men’s Speed Title

As previously reported, Elio LeFleur sustained an injury during a match at an NXT live event earlier this month and was seen with his arm in a sling after the show.

During a backstage segment on last night's episode of WWE NXT, which also featured Sean Legacy and the duo Hank & Tank (Hank Walker and Tank Ledger), Legacy mentioned that he would be ready to return from his ankle injury in a few weeks. LeFleur then shared that he has tears in his shoulder and will be out for six months. Additionally, he announced that he would be relinquishing the Speed Championship, with a tournament scheduled to begin next week to crown a new champion.

LeFleur won the title on the February 24th episode of WWE NXT and held it for 35 days without making any title defenses during that period.
