Friday Night SmackDown Quick Recap for June 10, 2022

Matches Tonight: Five (approx. 43 minutes)
  • Money in the Bank Qualifying Match: Drew McIntyre vs Sheamus. Both men used steel chairs to end the match in a double-DQ. No word was given on who will advance; both men brawled until 8:25pm EST despite the match ending at 8:19pm. 8:07-8:19pm EST.
  • Money in the Bank Qualifying Match: Lacey Evans vs Xia Li. Evans won and is the first official entrant. 8:37-8:40pm EST.
  • SmackDown Championship Match: Ronda Rousey(c) vs Shotzi. Ronda won in underwhelming fashion. 8:57-9:02pm EST.
  • Intercontinental Championship Match: Ricochet(c) vs Gunther w/ Ludwig Kaiser. WALTER's won his first major WWE title, yay. 9:15-9:24pm EST.
  • Singles Main Event Match: Riddle vs Sami Zayn. If Zayn wins, Riddle is barred from SmackDown; if Riddle wins, he'll face Roman Reigns next week for the Undisputed championship. Riddle won and will face Reigns next week. After the match, the Usos attacked but Riddle held his own and fought them off. 9:43-9:57pm EST.
Miscellaneous Non-Match Segments of Note:
  • Money in the Bank Entrant(s): Lacey Evans; no verdict on McIntyre/Sheamus due to their double-DQ.
  • Next Week on SmackDown: The Viking Raiders are coming to SmackDown (if not next week, then soon). Maximum Male Models will debut its first client next week, not this week, due to "travel issues."
