IMPACT Wrestling On AXS TV Recap (03/16): 6-Man Tag Team Match

IMPACT Wrestling recently held the latest episode of their flagship show, where the show's main event saw IMPACT World Champion Josh Alexander, Rich Swann and Frankie Kazarian take on Bullet Club (IMPACT World Tag Team Champions Ace Austin and Chris Bey and NJPW STRONG Openweight Champion KENTA) in 6-Man Tag Team action.

Below are the results from the show, courtesy of IMPACTWrestling.com:

- Champagne Singh def. Zicky Dice in a Before The IMPACT Match.

- IMPACT Wrestling opens up with PCO calling out Eddie Edwards after he was run over by an unknown assailant last week on the Las Vegas desert.

- "Speedball" Mike Bailey and Jonathan Gresham def. Decay (Black Taurus and Crazzy Steve) in a Tag Team Match. After the match, "Speedball" Mike Bailey and Jonathan Gresham shake hands.

- We then head backstage, where Gia Miller interviews IMPACT World Champion Josh Alexander, Rich Swann and Frankie Kazarian as before they face Time Machine at Sacrifice, they must first face Bullet Club tonight. Alexander says they will win both their upcoming matchups despite them never teaming as a trio before. They are then confronted by the #1 Contender to Alexander's IMPACT World Championship at Rebellion Steve Maclin, who claims that the only reason Josh Alexander is teaming with Swann and Kazarian is they are no longer threats to his title reign.

- Johnny Swinger, who was granted the opportunity to choose his own opponent on his road to 50 wins, gets more than he bargained for when he selected Jai Vidal.

- Steve Maclin def. Heath in a Singles Match.

- We then head backstage, where Taya Valkyrie is worried that Jessicka may find out about her true identity if she is exposed to The Coven’s dark magic.

- It is then shown that PCO has made it into the city of Las Vegas as his search for Eddie Edwards continues.

- "Speedball" Mike Bailey then challenges Jonathan Gresham to a one-on-one match at Sacrifice, which Jonathan Gresham accepts.

- Jai Vidal def. Johnny Swinger in a Singles Match.

- The Design then reveal that despite Callihan’s victory over Rhino last week, that was not step 6 in his initiation process. Deaner then tells Callihan that he must take his punishment for costing Kon his match against Frankie Kazarian at No Surrender.

- It is then shown that IMPACT Knockouts World Champion Mickie James is concerned that Tommy Dreamer requested a Tag Team Match between herself and Dreamer against Bully Ray and Masha Slamovich for next week's show. Jordynne Grace then confronts Mickie James and doubts that James will be ready for their IMPACT Knockouts World Title rematch at Sacrifice.

- Eddie Edwards makes his way down to the ring and says it has been difficult for him to focus on his future when he is continually being haunted by his past. Edwards is convinced that his problems with PCO are finally over after he was run over last week. Edwards is then shocked to see that PCO is here in the IMPACT Zone. PCO then makes his way to the ring when he is jumped from behind by his former ally in Honor No More Kenny King. PCO then begins to fight back but ultimately falls victim to the numbers game. Edwards then hits PCO with a kendo stick followed by a top rope Blockbuster from King. Edwards then drives a steel chair into PCO’s head with the Boston Knee Party.

- Director of Authority Santino Marella is then visited by an old friend. Meanwhile, IMPACT Digital Media Champion Joe Hendry invokes Brian Myers’ rematch clause for the IMPACT Digital Media Title at Sacrifice so that he can exact his revenge. Dirty Dango is a big fan of Hendry and is thrilled when Marella puts them in a Tag Team Match against Myers and Moose next week.

- The Coven (Taylor Wilde and KiLynn King) def. The Death Dollz (Taya Valkyrie and Rosemary) (c) to become the new IMPACT Knockouts World Tag Team Champions.

- Bullet Club (IMPACT World Tag Team Champions Ace Austin and Chris Bey and NJPW STRONG Openweight Champion KENTA) def. IMPACT World Champion Josh Alexander, Rich Swann and Frankie Kazarian in a 6-Man Tag Team Match. After the match, Bullet Club celebrates their huge victory as IMPACT Wrestling goes off the air.
