Indianapolis Officials Uncertain On Timeline For Hosting WWE WrestleMania

WWE announced last year that they have a new deal with the city of Indianapolis, which will bring major premium live events there, including WrestleMania, Royal Rumble, and SummerSlam. The Royal Rumble already took place on February 1, but the dates for SummerSlam and WrestleMania have yet to be announced.

According to Fightful Select, city officials in Indianapolis are unsure when they will host WrestleMania, especially since the event is scheduled to take place in Las Vegas next spring and then in Saudi Arabia in 2027. The report also mentioned that WWE has promised New Orleans a future WrestleMania after the event was initially planned for that city next year as WrestleMania 42. However, New Orleans officials are uncertain about when they will receive the event and have stated they will believe it when they see it.

Meanwhile, WWE will hold SummerSlam in Minneapolis in 2026, which means Indianapolis could potentially host SummerSlam no earlier than 2027. Despite this uncertainty, officials have expressed that their relationship with WWE remains positive following WrestlePalooza.
