Jay White Dealing With Another Injury, No Timetable On Return

Jay White's plans to gear up for a shot at the AEW World title at All In Texas took a sudden setback when injury struck at an unfortunate time.

During Wednesday's AEW Dynamite, while the men's and women's Owen Hart Foundation tournament brackets were being revealed, Excalibur announced that White had been attacked by the Death Riders and would no longer be able to compete. No footage was shown to support the update.

However, this injury is not just part of a storyline. Fightful Select confirmed on Wednesday night that White is genuinely injured and will need surgery. Details regarding the nature of the injury, its severity, and his recovery timeline remain unclear.

The 32-year-old had been on a roll in March, picking up victories over Max Caster and Kevin Knight, with the latter win occurring just this past Saturday on Collision. White had previously taken time off after last year's Owen Hart tournament due to a broken foot, which kept him sidelined for three months.
