Singer and rapper Jelly Roll is scheduled to appear on this week’s WWE Smackdown and that may not be his only appearance for the promotion in the next little while.
On today’s WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, it was reported that sources within WWE have indicated that his appearance on Friday is likely to lead to a role at WrestleMania 42, presumably in a non-wrestling role.
WWE was said to be impressed with his performance at last year’s SummerSlam and even more so on how he came across on the Netflix Unreal series.
Jelly Roll has received significant backstage praise for his work thus far especially for the reason that he comes off as someone who loves the industry and genuinely wants to be there rather than use WWE as a promotional vehicle to further their own career.
