During last night's post-WWE SummerSlam episode of RAW in Brooklyn, New York, the company announced that 17-time World Champion John Cena will be appearing on this Friday’s SmackDown. This announcement comes after Cena lost the Undisputed WWE Championship to Cody Rhodes, the 2025 King of the Ring winner, at SummerSlam. Following this loss, Cena was brutally attacked by a returning Brock Lesnar.
This is the first segment announced for the show, which will take place at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, and will air live on the USA Network.
