-- The word is that Kenny Omega has already turned down WWE's offer and is expected to sign with AEW, once his current NJPW deal expires on 1/3, reports the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
-- Omega's situation has led some to believe that a potential relationship between NJPW and AEW is imminent since Omega is extremely important to NJPW's plans for the next couple of years, as well as their interest in using Chris Jericho for big shows.
-- It is rumored that if Omega signs with AEW and NJPW is able to work something out, his priority will stil be AEW and that Omega won't be working a significant NJPW schedule. One idea that has been rumored is that AEW has discussed not running any weekend shows when New Japan has a big show, which would free up Omega, Jericho and other talent would be available to work there.
