Kenny Omega Returns To AEW At Worlds End; Confronts Kazuchika Okada

-- Former AEW World Champion Kenny Omega is back after a long absence while battling various health issues. Omega made his return at last night's Worlds End PPV confronting new Continental Champion Kazuchika Okada after his win over Will Ospreay. After the win, Christopher Daniels came out seemingly to present Okada with the title but said that he couldn't as he is no longer an EVP, but "he is" at which time Omega's music hit and he returned after more than half a year. Omega presented Okada with the title and the two stared each other down before Kenny left.

-- Omega hasn't wrestled in over a year due to multiple injuries as well as battling diverticulitis which up until last year went undetected and nearly cost him his life. Omega made one appearance in May where he was beat up by Okada's friends - The Young Bucks and Jack Perry - as a way to write him off of TV for storyline purposes. Omega is presumably fully cleared to return as he is set to wrestle at next weekend's Wrestle Dynasty PPV against Gabe Kidd.
