KnokX Pro Wrestling Releases Statement On Raja Jackson's Shocking Attack; Update On Stuart "Syko Stu" Smith

After the horrific assault that took place at a KnokX Pro event on Saturday where MMA fighter and the son of former TNA star Quinton "Rampage" Jackson, Raja Jackson, turned what was a planned spot into a brutal beatdown of an unconscious Stuart "Syko Stu" Smith, the indie promotion (which is a WWE ID affiliate) released the following statement:

"First and foremost our thoughts and prayers are with our brother Mr. Stuart Smith (Syko Stu) as he remains a priority and we are monitoring his well being.

What was supposed to be a planned and agreed upon wrestling spot, turned into a selfish, irresponsible act of violence against Mr. Smith. This egregious act is reprehensible and never should have occurred.

In the 17 years of operation of KnokX Pro Wrestling Academy, there has never been anything as heinous take place such as this and we apologize to our patrons and fans."

In an update on Smith's condition, Douglas Malo - a wrestler who was involved in the aftermath attempts to stop Jackson's attack - publicly stated that Smith as awake and talking on Sunday but suffered multiple broken bones in his face and lost a lot of teeth. Smith's brother, Andrew, posted to social media indicating that Stuart was in critical care but stable.

Meanwhile, TMZ reported that the LA Police Department was called to the scene after the incident and they have opened an investigation, likely looking into criminal charges against Jackson.
