AEW stars Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen, who make up the tag team Private Party, have been mostly inactive for the majority of 2025, appearing on AEW programming only once.
According to Fightful Select, both Kassidy and Quen are still under contract with AEW, and sources within the company have indicated that their contracts do not expire at the same time. It was also noted that it's conceivable, though not confirmed, that this staggered expiration might be due to injury time being added to one or both contracts.
The report mentions that the Hurt Syndicate appreciates the team and has advised them to spend more time in the gym to enhance their wrestling skills. Sources indicate that the Hurt Syndicate has been quite supportive of Kassidy and Quen.
As of now, there is no information regarding whether Private Party wants to stay with AEW or consider joining a different wrestling promotion, despite previous reports in June suggesting that their contracts would expire in the summer. However, that clearly does not seem to be the case.
Private Party last competed for AEW on the January 22nd episode of Dynamite, where they lost the AEW World Tag Team Championships to the Hurt Syndicate. Outside of AEW, they participated in only one other match this year. They teamed up at HOG City of Dreamz in March to secure a victory over Daron Richardson and Jodi Aura at an event in New York City. There is currently no information on when they will return to AEW, but updates will be provided as they become available.
