Latest Update On TNA's Plans For Joe Hendry; Details On His Current Contract & WWE Interest

-- Joe Hendry played a pivotal role in the WWE NXT and TNA cross-over that began earlier this year and he featured on NXT programming multiple times, prompting speculation that he was on WWE's radar as a possible full-time signing when his TNA deal expired. However, Hendry's push within NXT has slowed or perhaps even halted over the last several weeks and it prompted someone on X to tweet "kinda crazy how fast Joe Hendry fell off the radar."

-- In response, Hendry fired back with "Kinda crazy how poorly that tweet will age in about 4 months" which had fans doing the math and concluding that perhaps Hendry is hinting at a Royal Rumble appearance in February. However, before that he is set to face Nic Nemeth for the TNA World Title in a match and championship that he could very well win.

-- Fightfulselect.com reports that TNA officials are looking at Hendry to be a "focal point" within their company throughout 2025 and that his contract with the promotion is running through at least 2025, which would seemingly eliminate any sort of full-time move to WWE until then.
