The reporting officer noted that they responded to a health emergency at Hogan's residence around 10:00 AM and transported the former wrestler to a local hospital where he died at approximately 11:17 AM. It was noted the Clearwater Police Water has begun a death investigation but no foul play or suspicious activity is suspected. While not stated in the press conference, it is believed that Hogan suffered a "massive cardiac arrest." No other information was released and they did not take any questions.
