Mark Henry Confirms Plans To Make In-Ring Return Within Next 6 Months To Wrestle After Age Of 50

WWE Hall of Fame legend Mark Henry recently appeared as a guest on the Wrestling Inc. Daily podcast for an in-depth interview to talk about his new management role for the Southwest Wrestling Entertainment (SWE) Fury promotion.

During his appearance on the popular pro wrestling podcast, "The World's Strongest Man" spoke about his plans to return to the next within the next year to wrestle a match after he turns 50 years of age, as well as where and for which promotion the match might take place.

Featured below are some of the highlights from the interview where he talks about this subject.

On wanting to wrestle a match within the next six months: "I haven’t thought one bit about who, or where or when. Well, the when is going to be after my birthday. It’s going to be after June 12. I’ll be 50 years old, and I want to be able to say I wrestled after I was 50 and had a good match. I wrestled in four decades, and that I was able to help somebody in the process or bring attention to somebody that nobody knew. So that’s that’s the whole point in me doing it."

On if fans may see the match in SWE or even AEW: "I don’t know. I’m kind of right now a WWE lifer but only God knows what the future holds. I plan on doing the best that I could do wherever I’m wanted, and if the WWE wants me, then I’m going to do my best there."
