-- WWE announced yesterday that Monday Night Raw will remain on the USA Network through 2024 after the two sides reached a three-month agreement worth $25 million to WWE. The original deal between the two sides ran until September while WWE's new Netflix agreement doesn't kick in until January.
-- According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Netflix didn't want Raw early and USA initially indicated that they wouldn't be airing the show beyond their agreement end date, however, they were on board at keeping the show at what amounts to a massively bargain rate considering they are paying $217 million for the first nine months and $287 million annually for a two-hour Smackdown show. From WWE's side, it is also a win as the company had not projected any additional fourth-quarter revenue for Raw in the domestic market.
