During tonight's WWE NXT No Mercy premium live event (PLE), NXT General Manager Ava announced that an NXT vs. TNA Invasion special will take place on Tuesday, October 7th, on the CW. Ava revealed that the event will feature several matchups, including two major title matches and two Survivor Series-style matches for both men and women. The participants in these matches will be announced on Tuesday.
The NXT vs. TNA Invasion special will air simultaneously with AEW Dynamite: Title Tuesday on TBS. One of the highlights will be a singles match where TNA World Champion Trick Williams faces Oba Femi, with everyone banned from ringside and a definitive winner required. Additionally, there will be a Winner Take All match featuring TNA World Tag Team Champions The Hardys against WWE NXT Tag Team Champions DarkState.
