Earlier today, it was reported that WWE filed a trademark for the term "EK Prosper" without much context into who that would be for though it was obviously for a new wrestler.
WrestleVotes Radio on FightFul Select reports that the new trademark is for NXT wrestler Eli Knight. The reason for the new name is that there was an internal belief that "Eli Knight" was too similar to current main roster superstar LA Knight. Further confusing the matter is the fact that LA Knight used to wrestle under the name Eli Drake.
WWE.com has already reflected the name change on their website.
