WWE is lining up a big celebrity for next month's SummerSlam and it sounds like it won't be for only an appearance but rather an actual match.
Singer Jelly Roll, who is set to appear on WWE Smackdown tomorrow, has been training behind-the-scenes in anticipation of an in-ring debut at SummerSlam, reports pwinsider.com. His appearance on Smackdown is expected to trigger a storyline that will see aligned with a "top babyface" ahead of SummerSlam, where presumably he will team up with the babyface in a tag team match. The identity of the wrestler is not yet known but the report notes that WWE sources have shared that it is not Cody Rhodes.
Jelly Roll - a self proclaimed huge WWE fan - performed at last year's SummerSlam and ended up getting involved physically where he took out Austin Theory and Grayson Waller with chair shots before chokeslamming Theory. He has indicated that his goal was to lose some weight in hopes of stepping into the ring for a match and it looks like it will become a reality at SummerSlam.
