A husband-wife couple has quit TNA effective immediately.
Fightful Select reports that Mance Warner and Steph De Lander have left TNA. The reason for their departures is believed to be TNA's refusal to clear De Lander from returning to in-ring action following a serious neck injury that required surgery.
TNA's medical team has effectively disqualified De Lander from competing as a wrestler ever again so she ended up going to WWE's spinal surgeon for a second opinion and potential clearance, which she claimed on social media was granted. She hasn't wrestled in almost two years.
TNA Wrestling has not commented on this story but one source in the company noted that it's possible the couple could wrap up their commitments with the company's next round of TV tapings scheduled for this weekend.
