After TNA President Carlos Silva dropped a couple of teases indicating that WWE star and TNA legend AJ Styles would be returning to the company for this weekend's Slammiversary, the rumor has been all but officially confirmed.
In a vignette that aired on tonight's episode of TNA Impact, a vignette aired that showed brief clips of Styles before zooming in on a dusty old chest that contained Styles' signature vest/jacket with the P1 (Phenomenal One) logo.
Styles' return would be a massive homecoming as he is the biggest homegrown star in company history, wrestling for TNA between 2002 and 2013 where he was a three-time NWA champion, two-time TNA champion and a six-time X-Division champ.
