A top WWE superstar will be appearing in a highly anticipated film sequel.
Becky Lynch has filmed a supporting role in Happy Gilmore 2, the upcoming sequel to the classic Adam Sandler comedy, according to PWInsider.com. Reports are that Lynch will appear as part of a rival golfing group, which will also include NFL star Reggie Bush. While details about her character remain under wraps, it's been confirmed that Lynch’s scenes have already been completed.
Although WWE has not officially announced Lynch’s return to television, she was spotted taking part in media appearances at Netflix’s headquarters in Los Angeles a few weeks ago. WWE's flagship program Raw premieres on Netflix tomorrow (Monday, January 6th).
In addition to Lynch, other notable personalities are set to appear in the film, including WWE’s Bad Bunny and AEW star MJF. The production has been taking place in New Jersey.
