-- Netflix's docuseries, "Mr. McMahon" which was based on the life, times and wrestling career of Vince McMahon was the fourth-most watched show worldwide on the streaming platform last week and third in North America. The series was only released on September 25, but finished in that spot for the week September 23-29. The series was viewed 4.9 million times during that period totaling 28.2 million hours streamed.
-- AEW President Tony Khan was asked on the Quinn and Cantara Show if he had a chance to watch the McMahon documentary. Khan responded saying he hasn't and that he's been too busy with football.
“No, I’ve been so busy with football and wrestling I have not seen that documentary. I’ve not gotten to watch that. Really mostly focused here on what we’re doing in AEW. I do love watching wrestling all over the world, and we work with a lot of the top wrestling leagues."
“I’ve never met (Vince) and have never really worked with (WWE). But have really grown up as a wrestling fan and a historian of the pro wrestling business. So, absolutely, we love being the challenger promotion and trying to grow and build AEW from the ground up. You know, it’s only been five years we’ve been around and done a lot in that time.”
