WWE Employees Reportedly Discontent With Changes To Company Severance Policy

Last week, WWE issued an internal memo informing employees of a new severance policy. Previously, the company provided one month of severance pay for each year of service. Moving forward, WWE will implement the TKO policy, which offers two weeks of severance pay for every year an employee has worked at the company.

According to the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE employees are dissatisfied with the new policy. Their frustration is heightened by an increased workload following recent layoffs, as they are now required to work on projects for both WWE and other TKO properties, such as UFC and PBR.

The report also noted that under WWE's former severance policy, some employees who were laid off found new positions at AEW, allowing them to be paid by both promotions simultaneously. This was possible because, unlike talent contracts, there were no non-compete clauses attached to their agreements and salaries.
