WWE Friday Night SmackDown Preview (2/14): Carmella Set For Women's Title Clash Against Bayley

WWE returns to the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada this evening for this week's episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown.

WWE.com released the following preview for tonight's show:

Friday Night SmackDown preview, Feb. 14, 2020: Carmella set for SmackDown Women’s Title clash against Bayley

Bayley and Carmella meet in a SmackDown Women's Championship clash. Also, the highly anticipated date between Otis and Mandy Rose will take place on a Valentine's Day SmackDown.

Carmella set for SmackDown Women’s Title clash against Bayley

Carmella didn’t have much time to celebrate her Fatal 4-Way victory last week, but she won’t spend much time waiting for her title showdown with Bayley either.

Things are moving fast in the SmackDown Women’s Division, as “The Princess of Staten Island” is the latest to step up in an attempt to end Bayley’s impressive title reign. Carmella surpassed Alexa Bliss, Naomi and Dana Brooke in their Fatal 4-Way Match to earn the top contender spot for the SmackDown Women’s Championship.

Carmella has lamented at the destruction of the “BayMella” friendship on social media, as the SmackDown Champion’s recent rampage has alienated many along the way.

Now can Carmella upend the blue brand’s status quo? Or will Bayley dispatch the latest challenge to her supremacy?

The Miz & John Morrison come calling for Roman Reigns

The Miz & John Morrison have certainly found their swagger since reuniting and now are strutting right into The Big Dog’s yard.

Recent individual wins against Kofi Kingston & Big E have given The Miz & John Morrison confidence heading into WWE Super ShowDown and apparently enough of it that “The Dirt Sheet” duo turned their attention to The Usos' impending absence from this Friday's SmackDown.

Roman Reigns stood up to defend The Bloodline and fired back against the pair’s social media taunts.

The Miz & John Morrison remained unphased and unfettered, setting the stage for a showdown with Reigns with one last jab.

Now Reigns must find a teammate to head into battle with The Miz & John Morrison.

Who will The Big Dog turn to for this tag team clash? Have the A-Lister and The Guru of Greatness bit off more than they can chew?

Otis looks to capture Mandy Rose’s heart on Valentine’s Day SmackDown

Pop the champagne, lay down the flowers and cut those sleeves off the suit jacket – love is in the air on a Valentine’s Day SmackDown.

After a high-level training session with his good pal Tucker last week, Otis is as ready as he’ll ever be for the date of his life with his “peach,” Mandy Rose. The chivalrous Superstar’s courtship of The Golden Goddess could even melt the heart of SmackDown’s coldest commentator. The Blue Collar Solid approach was highlighted by Christmas hams, fruitcakes, Royal Rumble heroics and the occasional sweaty hug.

Will Otis and Mandy Rose knock off “The Notebook” as the romance of our lifetime? Or should the WWE Universe prepare for an immeasurable heartbreak. All’s fair in love and SmackDown.

Don’t miss Otis and Mandy Rose’s Valentine’s date on SmackDown at 8/7 C on FOX.
