At this past Saturday’s AEW All Out PPV, “The Rated R Superstar” Adam Copeland teamed with Christian Cage to score a major victory over FTR (Cash Wheeler and Dax “The Axe” Harwood). During the match, Copeland paid tribute to one of his greatest rivals, 17-time WWE World Champion John Cena, by delivering the You Can’t See Me back suplex, the Five Knuckle Shuffle, and an Attitude Adjustment to Wheeler.
The moment followed Cena recently honoring Copeland by hitting a spear on SmackDown earlier this month. In response, Cena acknowledged the tribute in his trademark fashion on Instagram, posting a photo of Copeland’s run as Edge in WWE—without adding any words.
Meanwhile, Cena also competed at WrestlePalooza last Saturday, where he was decisively defeated by Brock Lesnar in the event’s opening match.
