During last night's NXT Gold Rush week two episode of NXT TV, WWE legend and current Intercontinental Champion John Cena made several video appearances. He announced the complete list of competitors for both the men's and women's Iron Survivor Challenge Matches, which will take place at Deadline next month.
Only one wrestler needed to qualify for the men's match, which was determined in the show's main event between Myles Borne and Trick Williams. Cena stated that the winner of this match would secure a spot in the Men's Iron Survivor Challenge Match. Ultimately, Borne emerged victorious and earned his spot.
The Iron Survivor Challenge is NXT’s signature match for Deadline. Both the men's and women's matches will be 25 minutes long, featuring five competitors. Two wrestlers will begin the match, with the others entering at regular intervals. Any wrestler who is pinned, disqualified, or submits will be required to spend 90 seconds in the penalty box. The wrestler who scores the most points by the end of the 25-minute match will win and receive future title opportunities for the NXT and NXT Women’s Championships, respectively.
NXT Deadline is scheduled for Saturday, December 6th, at the Tech Port Center in San Antonio, Texas.
Below is the complete list of competitors for both matches:
Men’s Iron Survivor Match:
* Je’Von Evans
* Leon Slater
* Joe Hendry
* Dion Lennox
* Myles Borne
Women’s Iron Survivor Match:
