As noted earlier today, WWE is beginning to re-focus on attracting and signing international wrestlers with speculation that perhaps it could ultimately lead to the company launching an NXT brand within Europe.
Earlier this week, fightfulselect.com reported that WWE was looking to sign Spanish talent Zozaya. He impressed at the recent WWE tryout but is still finishing up at university which is expected to wrap up in June. When he signs, it is believed he will begin with WWE in the fall timeframe.
In a separate report, Cultaholic reported that WWE was looking to sign both Aigle Blanc and Mike D Vecchio and fightfulselect.com then reported that both are "on the verge" of being signed and they too are expected to begin with WWE around September. Blanc is a 26-year-old masked wrestler from France who has worked with many top European promotions while Vecchio is a Belgian wrestler who most recently worked Joey Janela's Spring Break 9.
Fightful also noted that all three talent's contracts with WWE are being handled by James Amner and that there is at least one other yet-to-be-named wrestler who is expected to sign with the promotion.
All the above wrestlers participated in a WWE tryout at the end of March (2025) when the promotion was on its European tour heading into WrestleMania 41 and as expected, they all impressed to the point where WWE has decided to sign them.
