In the Ring Promo: WWE Champion Bobby Lashley with MVP

Corey Graves, the lovable Byron Saxton, and Jimmy Smith welcome us as our All Mighty champ makes his way to the ring. We get still images, video, and narration recapping the Lashley/Goldberg match which ended with Lashley retaining as Goldberg was too injured to continue. We also see the events after the match, when Lashley put the Hurt Lock on Gage Goldberg, Bill's son. MVP claimed that night that they had no clue it was Goldberg's son. Smith calls it downright shameful as we return to the ring. MVP wants to speak but loud boos from the crowd give him pause. MVP asks for our attention so he can address what happened at SummerSlam. This crowd is hot tonight, and constantly boo throughout the segment and give thumbs down. MVP tells us that we all know Goldberg's extraordinary history...but we also know about his not-so-extraordinary recent history. MVP states that Goldberg was still a worthy challenger based on his power and skill set. MVP tells us that they didn't have any clue that Goldberg's son might've been at SummerSlam. MVP even speculates maybe it was a secret plan for Gage to distract the champ. MVP praises Goldberg's offense...praising him for scoring a couple of two counts, and doing a couple of moves. MVP tells us that Lashley (like the Hulk) got angry, and the angrier he gets, the stronger he gets. He goes on to tell us that Lashley beat the holy hell out of Goldberg and the only man who's ever stopped Goldberg was Lashley. MVP reminds us Goldberg didn't have a land to stand on, literally due to the injury, and had to quit--and that makes him a coward. The crowd starts up a Goldberg chant. MVP continues, explaining that Lashley won the match and someone from the crowd attacked the All Mighty from behind, like a coward, and the All Mighty reacted as he would to anyone. He'd flip them over his shoulder and put the Hurt Lock on. MVP goes on stating "he'd do it to you, and you...and even you, fat boy!" Haha. MVP tells the entire crowd that Lashley could destroy them all, then tells them that San Diego is a city of losers. MVP states that if anyone has a problem with Lashley's dominant reign--and pauses to let Lashley finish by telling the crowd "you can go to hell!"
Enter United States Champion Damian Priest! Priest makes his way straight to the ring and gets on the mic. "You're calling Goldberg a coward because he was injured and couldn't finish the match?" MVP tries to explain, and Priest tells Lashley he's a coward for attacking an injured man. Priest asks Lashley if that makes him feel like a big man, then curses him in Spanish to a pop from the crowd. Priest tells Lashley that he's not gonna jump Lashley from behind--he's issuing a challenge, one on one, tonight. The crowd pops to this. MVP and Lashley talk off mic. Priest continues. "To be clear, you don't want to accept this challenge? You're the coward!" The crowd pops, and Lashley pops Priest with a right. The champ pummels Priest to the ropes then removes his suit jacket. Priest unloads, sending Lashley to the outside. MVP and Lashley are incensed and MVP gets on the mic, telling Priest that Lashley's going to go change right now and they're going to fight. Lashley walks up the ramp, loosening his tie as he's eager to get to this match. We head to break!

Singles Non-Title Match: WWE Champion Bobby Lashley vs United States Champion Damian Priest

Damian Priest remains in the ring after the break, and the All Mighty WWE Champion once again makes his entrance--this time in ring wear, and wearing his belt. Our competitors ready up and we get the bell. Lashley starts off with a big right. Lashley continues early on. Priest attempts to fight back and Lashley shuts him down with a side Urinage. Lashley prepares for a spear early, but Priest has it scouted and counters with a combination of kicks. And then, without warning, former United States champion Sheamus hits the ring and attacks Priest, causing the DQ.
Your Winner by Disqualification, Damian Priest!

After the Match: Pict and Celt Clash

Sheamus and Lashley have the numbers advantage over a defenseless Priest. Drew McIntyre hits the ring to make the save and destroys Lashley, crashing the champ through the announcer's table as we go to break (and probably return to a tag match).

Tag Team Match: WWE Champion Bobby Lashley & Sheamus vs United States Champion Damian Priest & Drew McIntyre w/ Angela the Sword

We return from the break and find ourselves mid-match. Jimmy Smith explains the match was made official during the break. We find Sheamus working over McIntyre in the corner as the two former best-friends battle. Besties in the WWE never work out. Sheamus tags in Lashley, who throws shoulders and fists into McIntyre's midsection. Sheamus is tagged back in and fails to contain Drew, allowing Drew to tag in Priest. Priest rebounds off the ropes on a running move, hitting a corkscrew elbow blast. Priest continues to hammer the former United States Champion with a big body slam. Priest with a big shoulder, and a second. Lashley attempts to distract, causing Priest to turn his attention to Lashley and raise his fists. Sheamus attacks Priest, sending him out and tagging Lashley. Lashley beats Priest at ringside, and puts him in a Fireman's Carry. Lashley rams Priest's side into the ring post. You can see the red mark on his side afterwards. Again Lashley rams Priest against the ring post. For what it's worth, the referee isn't even counting them out at all. Lashley leaves Priest on the floor and rolls into the ring as we go to break.
Back from the break. Sheamus with a suplex takedown and a pin attempt on Priest, who kicks out. Sheamus locks in the side headlock and Priest desperately reaches for Drew. Sheamus taunts him, giving him false hope before taking him to the neighboring corner. Priest tries to come out fighting but Sheamus with a big slam that lays out the United States Champion. Sheamus tags in Lashley, and Lashley uses a power submission. The crowd comes alive and gets behind Priest, who manages to power to a vertical base. Lashley takes him back into the corner and tags in Sheamus. Sheamus with several kicks to the battered Priest. Sheamus gets a "you suck" chant from the lively crowd. Sheamus attempts a suplex but Priest puts on the brakes. Priest with rights to break out of it. Sheamus immediately hits a backbreaker, and flexes in unison with Lashley. Sheamus squeezes Damian's head then throws a pair of forearms to Priest's back. Priest counters a move into a takedown, and both men tag in their partners.
Drew hits the ring hot, hitting multiple overhead and belly-to-belly suplexes and strikes. Lashley is completely at the mercy of Drew. McIntyre sets up in the corner and gets the crowd to count down with him "Three, two, one!" but is forced to turn his attention to Sheamus, approaching on the apron. McIntyre with a right that drops Sheamus, but the distraction worked and Lashley takes control long enough to tag Sheamus in. Sheamus takes Drew up to the middle rope and hits a White Noise off the middle rope! Sheamus pins but Drew kicks out at a close two!
Sheamus looks for a Brogue Kick but McIntyre counters. McIntyre with a blind tag to Priest. Sheamus, unaware, is attacked from behind. Priest streaks across the ring to attack Lashley on the apron. Priest turns back to Sheamus just in time to catch a huge Kitchen Sink to the jaw, laying Damian out nearly cold. Lashley hops off the apron, and Lashley leaves with MVP and his title. Sheamus, abandoned, is quickly finished when Priest tags in McIntyre who immediately uses a Claymore to end the match.
Your Winners, United States Champion Damian Priest & Drew McIntyre!

Backstage Interview/Video Package: De-Eva-lution?

Sarah welcomes DouDrop and asks her about what happened at SummerSlam. DouDrop tells us that Eva Marie named her DouDrop to mock her (okay?) but Dou kind of likes it now. She promises that the next time she sees Eva Marie, she's going to hurt her. Eva Marie attacks Dou, telling her that she made her. Eva leaves and Dou calls her a bitch.

Singles Match: Karrion Kross vs Ricochet

Karrion Kross comes out, sans Scarlett, and wearing a mask and leather chest piece shaped like a barbarian's "X" crossing belt. The crowd boos. We go to break. When we return, both men are set up and the bell rings. Kross immediately with a suplex. Kross stomps away at Ricochet in the corner. Kross works on the neck, twisting the head as he pulls Ricochet up. Kross looks for a pull-back lariat but Ricochet ducks under. Ricochet runs into another clothesline, however, and Karrion Kross hits a Powerbomb, holds on and hoists Ricochet up to hit the Doomsday Saito! Kross applies the Kross jacket and Ricochet taps in this 90-second or so match.
Your Winner, Karrion Kross!

Backstage: the Viking Raiders and Logan Paul

After a quick clip from SummerSlam during which Baron Corbin and Logan Paul exchanged words--with Paul calling Corbin an asshole--before we cut to the back, where WWE's own jomsvikings give their new merch to Logan Paul. Loud boo from the crowd at Paul.

Backstage: Sheamus and Bobby Lashley

A very angry Sheamus approaches the WWE Champion and MVP, angrily exclaiming that he came out to save Lashley and is not happy with being abandoned. Both exchange heated words and MVP has to prevent them from fighting.

Video Package: Elias is Dead

We get the video from last week, in which Elias tells us that Elias is dead, shows us a guitar on a pile of ashes, and then walks off with a tombstone stating "Elias: 2017-2021".

Moist TV, featuring Logan Paul

Morrison makes his way out and we head to break as he does. Morrison has the ring set up with inflatable rings and two chairs. Morrison, shirtless, is happy to have Logan Paul there. Corey Graves geeks out over his favorite "boxer." Morrison welcomes Paul and Paul is completely drowned out by loud boos and a raucous crowd that are not fans of Logan Paul. Morrison tries to continue, mentioning that Logan and Jake Paul have been making waves in the boxing world and they want to know what's next for the Paul brothers. The crowd boos even louder at the thought of a Paul in the WWE. The Miz comes out to a decent pop. The Miz mentions Johnny forgot about the Miz, who's Logan Paul's favorite wrestler. Morrison makes a quip about the Miz hogging the spotlight. Seeds have been planted. Paul answers Morrison's question despite the boos. Paul states he and his brother are getting more into boxing. The Miz asks "if I may..." and the crowd with a loud "you suck" chant for the Miz. The Miz continues. "When my hand goes up, your mouth goes shut! You will show Logan Paul some respect! Logan Paul and myself are from a great city named Cleveland, Ohio! Hiss brother Jake is fighting Tyron Woodley in his hometown to a sold out arena." The Miz praises Logan's YouTube and podcasts and other ventures--and each time he names one, the crowd loudly boos. The Miz has to ask a hard-hitting question "and that is, in what round is your brother getting knocked out in?" The crowd pops to this as Paul nods his head at the burn. Logan Paul and the Miz get in each others faces and exchange words. Paul tries to defend his brother, while the Miz mocks his brother. They threaten as if they're going to fight but Morrison hops in and insults the Miz. Morrison tells the Miz that he's always making everything about him, and asks the crowd who cheers. Logan Paul excuses himself to massive boos as the Miz reminds Morrison that Moist TV is a spinoff of Miz TV and he's trying to help with the ratings. Morrison accuses Miz again of making everything about himself; the Miz tells him all this moist stick BS was for Morrison. Morrison accuses Miz of wanting to call the Dripsticks as "the Mizsticks." Xavier Woods' New Day music plays and he makes his way out to the ring, as he faces the Miz after this break.

Singles Match: the Miz vs Xavier Woods

Back from the break and this match starts. The Miz locks up and looks for a hold but Woods escapes and attempts a quick cover. Both men lock up and jockey for control. Corey Graves reminds us that "Xavier Woods embarrassed the Miz" at SummerSlam. Woods with a kick to the gut, staggering the Miz into the corner. Woods charges but the Miz pops him up; Woods lands on the apron and the Miz drops him to the floor. John Morrison, still ringside with his props, causes a slight distraction. Woods starts his comeback despite this, taking the Miz into the corner and hitting big chops and right fists. Corey Graves call the Miz a "modern day Wolverine" haha. Graves is asked if someone spiked his coffee. The Miz, his left knee draped on the middle rope, takes a dropkick from Woods to the knee!
The Miz feigns another injury long enough to sucker Woods in. The Miz drops Woods and struts, overconfident. The Miz whips Woods into the ropes; Woods rebounds off the ropes repeatedly as each man attempts a move and counter move. The spot ends with Woods dropping the Miz. The Miz rolls outside and Woods pursues. The Miz whips Woods into the barricade. The Miz rolls in and out of the ring to break the count--this referee knows to count!--and Morrison spills water along the floor before the announcer's table. The Miz falls victim to this, unintentionally, and is sent crashing into the steel steps. We head to break.
Back from the break. Miz has maintained control throughout the break. The Miz with the It Kicks to Woods, then soaks up some boos from the crowd. Woods attempts a roll-up. The Miz fights Woods into the corner and nails several kicks. Woods counters an attempted corner charge into a rope-assisted neckbreaker. The ref counts as both men are down, and both reach their feet at five. Woods and the Miz throw fists, but Woods takes the lead, unleashing a flurry of lefts and rights on the A-Lister. The Miz whips Woods, but Woods counters and sends the Miz to the outside. Woods with a Baseball Slide that floors the Miz! Woods enters the ring and hits a modified tope. Woods climbs up top and connects with a diving splash, but only picks up a two on the pin attempt. Morrison yells outside "this is it, it's over". The crowd with a New Day rocks chant. Miz fires back a snap attack and rolls Woods up for two. The Miz puts Woods in a Full Nelson, setting up the Skull Crushing Finale but Morrison looks to shoot Woods with the Dripstick. Both Miz and Woods duck it. The Miz connects with his move and covers, but Morrison distracted the ref as well. Woods kicks out when the ref does count, right at two, and rolls up a shocked and upset Miz to steal the win.
Your Winner, Xavier Woods!

After the Match: Series Cancellation

The Miz, clearly upset, stares at Morrison in the ring. Morrison tries to joke with him, and explains it was an accident and he's sorry. The Miz nods his head, telling Morrison to get the bucket of Dripsticks so they can blast the crowd. The Miz and Morrison begin spraying the crowd when the Miz attacks Morrison! Miz mounts Morrison and unloads on Morrison with punches and kicks. As Morrison attempts to flee, the Miz drops him with a big boot and continues to pound on Morrison, looking for a neck submission. Morrison wiggles free and right into a low side kick from the Miz. The Miz stands over his former bestie (What's up with Superstars having such untrustworthy friends?). The crowd boos loudly. The Miz kneels on Morrison's face, then pulls Morrison's limp body up into a Full Nelson. The Miz whispers something to Morrison and hits the Skull Crushing Finale to more boos.

Backstage: Rhea Ripley & Nikki A.S.H.

Ripley arrives to the arena in the back and actually gets a pop (not just the digital crowd, either). Nikki arrives, to a pop as well, and asks Ripley if they can get past their recent strife and team up to take on Baszler and Jax? Rhea smiles and says she can get behind that idea. We go to break.

The anticipated 24/7 match did not take place; instead, a video aired showing Reggie escaping R-Truth and Akira Tozawa in more ways to display his agility.

Backstage: R-K-Bro

Riddle scooters up to Orton and tells Orton he's planned a huge surprise celebration and Randy's gonna love it. The crowd with a loud "RKBro" chant. Orton tells Riddle that he's not really fond of celebrations, and all he asks is for Riddle not to do anything stupid. Riddle brushes it off jokingly.

Singles Match: Jinder Mahal w/ Shanky & Veer vs Mansoor w/ Mustafa Ali

Mahal makes his way out with his friends as we head to break. When we return, Mansoor makes his way out with Mustafa Ali, who's in street clothes. Mansoor politely offers to let Ali walk first, but Ali returns the kindness. We get clips from last week when Ali assisted Mansoor in securing a victory over Mace, a bit dirty, but a win is a win. After a quick backstage promo when Ali tells Mansoor he has his back--and Mansoor tells Ali he wants to win cleanly and asks Ali to not get involved--we finally get our bell. Mansoor and Jinder approach; Jinder drops Mansoor with a big kick to the gut. Mahal with more rights to Mansoor. Mansoor with a leaping cross-body but Mahal catches him and converts the hold into a suplex. Our commentary team praises the former WWE Champion, Jinder Mahal, and his determination. Ali briefly distracted Mahal, and Mansoor runs up top. Mansoor connects with the diving cross-body but Mahal kicks out. Mansoor with a kick to the jaw; Mahal with a big first and a whip to the corner. Jinder with a leaping knee drop before slapping on a shoulder and neck working hold. Ali paces by the commentary desk, frustrated and eager to help his new-found friend. Mahal releases the grip. Mansoor attempts to fight back with a dropkick and Mahal fires back with a kick of his own that flattens Mansoor. Mahal sends Mansoor into the corner and begins stomping him. The ref warns him and counts to five, but Mahal refuses to stop. The ref calls for the bell. After the match, Ali enters the ring, yelling "What happened? What happened? We can do things your way," and he gestures to Mahal and crew, "or we can do them mine." Mansoor nods his head, and Darth Ali has his new apprentice in the dark side.
Your Winner by Disqualification, Mansoor!

Backstage: United States Champion Damian Priest and Drew McIntyre

Drew notices Damian's dressed up, showered up and ready to go out. Damian thanks Drew for having his back tonight, and both men compliment each other and show respect. Drew joyfully boasts about their victory earlier tonight. Priest tells Drew that he's had a dream of winning the United States title since he was a kid. Drew offers to go out for drinks, but not before challenging Damian Priest to a match. Priest smiles, accepts, and Drew tells Priest he's buying the first pint afterwards.

In the Ring Promo: Raw Women's Champion Charlotte Flair

Flair comes out to mostly boos, but plenty of woos and cheers. We'll hear from her after this commercial break. After a break, our Queen poses and gets a healthy amount of woos and cheers. She soaks it in before speaking. "Well, well, well, what did I tell you? Was there really any doubt in anyone's mind that I wasn't going to stand here as your Raw Women's Champion? Wait wait wait--that's how many times now? I don't have enough fingers to count! Twelve times! One time Diva Champion, five time SmackDown Women's Champion, and now six-time Raw Women's Champion....I am the most decorated woman in WWE and" no one can compare. She's surprised that no one's made a commemorative statue of her and holds her right hand out in a very, very bad salute pose while talking about her superiority. She goes on to tell us that she's going to hang on to the Raw title as long as she can. "I don't need friends. I sure as hell don't need family....I don't need the WWE Universe, because all I need," she raises her title, "I have right here." Lots of boos as she poses and her music comes on.
Flair stays put though. "As I woke up this morning, I took a long look in the mirror and saw these (cheekbones), this chiseled physique, and this talent that only God could give to me." She tells us that tonight she's going to give us an opportunity to watch Flair walk around in her pretty outfit and with her title, instead of Nikki A.S.H., who held the title for barely a month. A fan yells for her to shut up; she yells back, "No, you shut up!" She tells the women's division that she's not messing around anymore. "I started the first-ever women's evolution, and tonight I'm starting a new one. So you can thank me now, thank me later, but don't forget to bow because I am your Queen. Your champion. Long live the Queen!" She hoists her title and again her theme plays.
And out comes Alexa Bliss! The digital crowd is hot for Bliss as she makes her way out with Lily, standing on the stage. Bliss speaks. "Congratulations, Charlotte. Lily and I just wanted to say hi!" She then leaves as her music plays her out, but not before smiling creepily and sadistically. Both women spend a long moment smiling at each other before we end the segment.

Backstage: Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler

Shayna asks Nia if she's sure she wants to tag with Shayna or Charlotte instead. Jax admits she was doing what she had to do for a title opportunity, but she's still got Baszler's back. Baszler reminds Jax that together, "we are the unstoppable force!" Jax nods and smiles.

Video Promo: Elias, 2nd Teaser

We get a new teaser video from Elias. He mentions that WWE used to stand for sports entertainment. Elias claims he's conquered sports entertainment. He tells us that Elias the WWE Superstar is dead. He puts on a white bucket hat with a wide brim and walks off as the WWE logo imprints on the screen. Odd.

Tag Team Match: Rhea Ripley & Nikki A.S.H. vs Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler

Nikki "Almost a Super Hero" A.S.H. makes her way out to a pop as we head to break. Rhea comes out to a mild response, much better than usual. Out next are their opponents, Big & Nasty. Both women confidently march down to the ring and ready up for this match. Rhea Ripley and Shayna Baszler start us off. Both women circle around each other before locking up. Shayna with a rear waistlock takedown, gator rolling with Rhea before rising to stand on Rhea's face while yanking on her left arm. Baszler positions Ripley's left wrist backwards, ready to stomp it, but Ripley catches her foot! Ripley takes down Baszler and tags in Nikki A.S.H. Rhea borrows Drake Maverick & Killian Dain's tag team combo movie, flipping Nikki in the air and slamming her down on Shayna for a close two. A.S.H. loses control to Baszler briefly but uses a headscissors takedown to gain the momentum. Nikki with a pin attempt but Baszler escapes, cranking A.S.H.'s arm and dragging her over so Jax can tag in. Jax easily handles the much-smaller A.S.H. Jax holds Nikki and backs up; Baszler tags herself in, runs across to attack Ripley on the apron and send her to the floor. We go to break with Jax & Baszler standing over a fallen Nikki as Ripley regains her composure at ringside.
Back from the break. Jax slams A.S.H. down as Jimmy Smith informs us that it's been all Jax during the commercial break. Baszler is tagged in and Jax works with Baszler to connect with a double team move. Baszler attempts a cover but only gets two. Baszler continues to work over Nikki. Baszler whips Nikki into the middle turnbuckle and her face clashes with a loud sound. Jax is tagged in and, in honor of Rikishi, delivers a Stink Face to a huge pop from the crowd. Jax sends A.S.H. to the opposite corner and soaks in some cheers. Jax charges Nikki in the corner but Cross reverses it. Jax quickly runs over to take a swing at Rhea, but Rhea drops to the floor to avoid it. Jax takes Nikki to her corner and looks for a Big Boot, but A.S.H. avoids it and Baszler eats it. Jax looks for a Banzai Drop on Nikki, but Nikki blocks it and escapes.
Ripley gets the hot tag as does Baszler. Rhea comes in fast and hits a headbutt that rocks Baszler. Rhea strikes Jax off the apron and delivers a basement dropkick to Shayna. Back kick to the gut before Rhea connects with a bridging Northern Lights suplex, picking up two. Rhea with a Mule kick in the corner as Baszler attempts offense. Rhea heads up top and hits a beautiful Missile Dropkick, covering for two. Jax looks to make the save and dives; Rhea moves, and Jax splashes her own partner! Rhea with a kick to send Jax outside. Nikki goes up top and dives to the outside, wiping Jax out with the Cross Body! In the ring Rhea hits a Riptide on Baszler and picks up the win!
Your Winners, Rhea Ripley & Nikki A.S.H.!

Backstage: John Morrison Ends It

After replays of the Miz attacking John Morrison earlier, we cut to the back. Morrison tells us it's all over between he and the Miz, and he'll get his payback next week when they fight.

R-K-Bro Championship Celebration

It's blue and has purple tassels. Riddle tells Orton he made it himself as he's seen Orton eying his scooter. He shows Randy how to pop it open. "And then if you wanna carry it around super easy, you just close it like this!" He shows it. Maybe scooters are coming to the WWE Shop soon? Riddle tells Orton that he's his best friend (uh-oh) but is interrupted by AJ Styles and Omos!
AJ speaks. "Look Omos! Randy got a scooter! A stupid scooter you can break across your knee, isn't that great? Hey Riddle, I just happened to notice--Randy didn't get you anything. No gifts, no presents, no candy, no plant--I mean, that's the obvious thing to get you!" Haha. He goes on to tell Riddle he's got something for him, a Phenomenal Forearm to wipe the stupid smile off his stupid face. "I'm gonna whoop that ass like every time I've stepped in the ring with you, and I"m gonna keep doing it until we get our (championship rematch)." Riddle gives Styles credit for last week, but "that was before R-K-Bro got back together." He accepts the challenge and tells Styles he's going to defeat him with the three most dangerous letters in the WWE, R-K-Bro. Styles yells "that's five letters!" We're told this match is up next!
